Aside from letting me know if I have a shot at getting this scholarship, it would be a bonus for one to inform me if I have a chance of getting into some of the top schools (i.e Cornell, Columbia, Harvard). Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

I am currently diagnosed with asperger syndrome. My fine motor skills and oragization skills are not quite as good as they should be.

What are some learning tips for me, I am home schooled and mainly look information up on the computer and read library books. I’m in 8th grade and I want to be prepared for a very hard online high school curriculum (keystonenationalhighschool).
Any library book or website suggestions?
(Course list for 9th grade, Algebra 1, Grammar and Composition, Sociology, Chemistry, Spanish and Fitness for life)
thank you

Will I be able to handle these classes in HS?

I’m starting high school next year and I just got a sheet today saying what my classes will be next year (changeable). This is what I got:

Current Issues/Honors Geography
Honors Lit/Comp
Honors Biology
Accel Math 1 Honors***
Spanish 1
Health 1/2 year
Personal Fitness 1/2 year
**What does the Accel mean? I think it means accelerated, but not sure. And, does that mean that’s even advanced then regular honors? I’m lost. xD

We got to pick electives (I picked Spanish, Health, and Personal Fitness-wanted to get rid of that last two in the beginning;]), but they picked the levels for the mandatory classes depending on grades, test scores, ect.

I’m not sure if I should take all of the honors classes, I want to but idk how I’ll do. Currently I am getting all As and I’m in all [gifted] advanced classes. I’ve never gotten more than one B on a report card in my life.
Are honors classes like advanced classes in MS?

I would appreciate any tips, stories, anything. Thanks much! ^-^

-Looking for serious answers only. Much appreciated.

Hello. First off I want to start by saying I’m 17 years old, and in 11th grade. I am behind some credits in high school, and I don’t know if I should start trying to do well, now. I am a really smart kid, I’ve just made some bad(well depends on what you consider bad) choices in school. I have a history of procrastination and I really want to change that. I know I can if I were to put my mind to it. My procrastination deals with my school work, I tend to make school my least important "chore", if you would call it that. I never really try, and my grades reflect that. I have had F’s, as well as a few A’s on past grade reports, but mainly poor grades. I am in my second semester of 11th grade now, and wondering if it is even worth trying, and giving it my best, for the remainder of my high school years.
I am not behind much, but I’m sure adult school will be necessary during next year, my senior year. I plan on graduating on time(2011, considering I’m not behind a whole lot). But, I have many D’s that I certainly cannot make up in time(before graduation). So I’m not so sure if trying to do well(strictly A’s and B’s) is worth my time… Since obviously I cannot get into a UC or a Cal State right out of high school. Since I know I can just attend a community college to get my AA, fix my D’s, and then transfer to a UC or Cal State if I wish, do I work hard for my remaining year and a half of high school, or do I just do the bare minimum to pass?… Since I can no longer attend a UC or a Cal State due to my D’s…

I’m a good kid deep down, like I’ve said, I’m just a huge procrastinator when it comes to school work and such.

I’m considering joining the Military after high school… Since I can’t attend college right away.

My interests are:
Computers. Love, love, love them. Anything technology really, I’m a computer nerd at heart.
I don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
Teaching sounds fun.
Fitness.
Design.

Any feedback or tips or anything really is appreciated. And I appreciate anyone who reads this and takes the time to reply.

If any further info is needed, please just ask.

can you explain these statements? please?

1. "exercise promotes health and improves one’s quality of life."

2. explain "exercise makes women feminine. women do not develop and retain muscles unless they indulge in continuous hard weight training for a very long period of time.

3. Is it necessary for us to learn some tips in improving our fitness? explain.
