I hired a personal trainer once awhile back and she’d given me a length of the red theraband. I took it for granted and had thought all would be the same, so when the one I had snapped (due to a sharp edge I inadvertantly got it caught on), I bought another band from a fitness store. It was nowhere near as nice as the theraband. It wasn’t as grippable and the different resistances were all too tight: even the light one. Plus they were all too short and cumbersome. Theraband is definitely much higher quality than the others.

The bands are just fine, but what I was really pleased with was the customer service. The first set of bands was sent by US Mail and they never arrived. After I contacted Amazon, they put me in contact with the vendor and they express mailed another set. And, they e-mailed me to make sure it arrived.

These bands are very convenient. One using them can avoid going to the gym and waiting to use those machines. They provide just the right amount of resistence for strength training. It is better to try some of the lighter bands at first. This way, an individual will be working for the best results. Works well for those in a wheelchair and for those with limited storage for equipment.

I ordered the red bands. One band (6 yards) is more than long enough to cut into four separate bands. Since most exercises that are done with bands call for one band, you’ve got extras! It’s a great band–just like any other, you can choke up on it for more resistance or let out some for less resistance. I would recommend these bands for anyone who wants an inexpensive set of exercise bands (and then some)!

These are great. Just be aware that this is the bulk length so you have to cut your own loops and tie them yourself. I like that though because I can use different lengths for different types of workouts. The blue seems just right to complement my relatively tough strength workouts.
