Sorry I have a dumb question, but what is the difference between a BOSU ball and a balance ball?
Question by ifnot2: Sorry I have a dumb question, but what is the difference between a BOSU ball and a balance ball?
I want to start doing this workouts (All Star Workouts) on FitTV with the current equipment (regular balance ball) I have, but I don’t know if there are some advantages to having an actual BOSU ball rather then what I have.

the bosu ball is in simple terms a half ball it’s on a platform and you basically have to try to do exercises on it, which in the beginning can be challenging, it challenges your core to be stable while reaping the benefits of exercise. A balance ball is a full ball, which like the bosu, you can do various exercises on it, not as difficult as the bosu. I like and have used both, but it takes longer to get used to the bosu.
