I’m going into high school next year, and really want to optimise my abilities and embellish on any skills before the school year starts.
This is my class list:
1. Science 9 2. Literary Seminar 1 3. French 1 4. Journalism 5. Algebra 1 6. Fitness 7. Social Studies 9 8. Literature and Composition 9
I’m shooting for an IB diploma (Literary Seminar is a pre-requisite).
I’m above average in math, but not spectacular or anything. I was actually supposed to be going into Geometry this year, (I took the equal of prealgebra in 7th, but didn’t turn anything in because of personal issues, so I was demoted to regular math).
My reading is college level according to a Lexile test we took (my lexile was 1620, I believe), and my writing has never been measured, but I do have something of a passion for the art (though I do have MAJOR writer’s block)
Any tips on honing my skills and sharpen my mind over the next month? Thanks.
Hello there, Thanks for reading. Currently 17, I need methods or tips on motivating myself to achieve my goals. Like many other readers i set them and they are unachieved by the end of the year! Great stuff ey? In a nut shell I want you, the reader at home, to post in absolutely ANY methods you have of motivating yourself to do something.
I need to motivate myself for A-LeveL revision/Self Fitness. All tips are appreciated and 10 points will go to the best answer as usual.
Thanks for taking the time, hope this post helps others to set and achieve goals.
I am currently a sophomore in high school, and want so badly to make it at USNC. I have a 3.5 with advanced classes, volunteer and participate in Varsity rugby at my high school. Besides grades, reccomendations, fitness, etc, any tips for getting into the academy? Anyone that went/applied/graduated?
