I doubt it, because the wistle is used long time ago, and if it works with steam, everybody could hear it..

HI,

Im a collegiate track and field runner. I am a 100 and 200 runner. Currently the weight system that we are going through is not very thorough. I am looking to supplement it with some work on my own. Ive heard kettle bells can shave 10ths of seconds of sprinters times. Is this true? Ive had a pretty succesful year as it is, but a couple 10ths of seconds would qualify me for nationals and would turn a ok year into a great year. Does anyone with past track and field experience have any knowledge on this matter?

im a muay thai fighter so im looking for that explosive and fast power! i have been doing compound exercise(squats,bench,deadlifts,powercleans,shoulderpress,androws) for about 3 years now, and doing that i got really bulky. but im hereing alot of good stuff on kettlebells how it makes you stronger all over you body how it will melt fat like crazy and what not. now i want to start doing kettle bells but i dont want to loose my bulky size. so if i get kettlebells heavy enough to stay in the 5to10 rep range will that keep my bulky if not bulkier? i deff dont want to loose my mass but i do want to burn some fat and get more power behind me! and iv been readu=ing that kb r the way to go! please someone help me and give me their opinion. i was thinking on monday tuesday and wednesday i would compound lifts, then thursday to sat to kettlebell wourkouts. let me know what you think, thanks.

I AM THINKING OF Purchasing some kettle bells but i dont know whether or not it is worth it if i already have loads of different weights. what do you think – is it actually worth buying kettle bells or just doing the same sort of workout using the weights.

what do you think? can i do the same workout as the kettle bell using the weights.

i personally think that i need a kettle bell but i am getting nagged by my husband because of all of the excercise equipement that i have – i just love working out and every thing about health and fitness.

Kettle Bells are more for incorporating full body movements as well as stimulating all the muscles in a given area, free weights are isolating one muscle group and stimulating them to their maximum potential.
