I just purchased the kit of resistance tube. It comes with 3 different bands. Do you know how long does it typically take for a beginner to notice result ? Thanks!

you will have the results that correlate with your degree of exercise. the harder you work, the faster your results, but either way, you will have to zone in on your nutrition. SOOOO much of it is diet!!

Question by This gum is fancy: If I use resistance bands instead of a pull up bar for the P90X, will I still get good results on my arms?
I saw that on the routines that require, they show that you can use resistance bands instead of a pull up bar. So does that mean I don’t need a pull up bar if I have these resistance bands?

I currently am using the bands with the program. You will need to use bands and some sort of bar. One option is buying the pull up bar that attaches to a door frame. Another option is purchasing the attachment for the bands to go on the door. The bar is probably going to cost you about 45.00 where as the attachment for the bands is probably 10.00. Either option is good but getting the bar is probably better.
As far as results on your arms, I think the bands will work just fine. I have been using the bands and I am seeing great results. The only downfall is that I use the heaviest resistance and can still get 14-16 reps on some exercises. Therefore I am getting pretty cut in my arms but not building alot of size. Reps of 6-8 would give me more size.

A 4 foot resistance band has more resistance so to speak and a 6 foot has less resistance .
